With two decades of operational experience, N.C.C. Management & Development Co., Ltd. is Thailand’s premier private sector venue management company. Its dedication to management excellence in organizing a large number of high profile international events has earned the company the respect of event organizers, exhibitors, business and public sectors, both in Thailand and overseas.
N.C.C. Management & Development Co., Ltd. has managed Queen Sirikit National Convention Center since it opened in 1991, showing its management capabilities with its first major event — the 46th World Bank/ International Monetary Fund Annual Meetings in October 1991. The World Bank Secretariat later described the event as “the best ever”.
Since then N.C.C. Management & Development Co., Ltd. has successfully hosted such world-class congresses as 10th UNCTAD in 2000, Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation in 2003, 3rd World Conservation Congress 2004, World University Presidents Summit 2006, 11th World Congress of Pediatric Dermatology 2009, 14th International Anti-Corruption Conference 2010 and Asia-Middle East Dialogue Thailand 2010 (AMED III).
N.C.C. Management & Development Co., Ltd. also manages the 60th Anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Accession to the Throne International Convention Center, Hat Yai. Previously, N.C.C. managed the Christchurch Convention Center, New Zealand for nine years, Thailand Science Park Convention Center (TSPCC), Pathum Thani for five years and Golden Jubilee Convention Hall, Khon Kaen University for fifteen years.

COMMITTED TO GREEN MICE OR SUSTAINIBILITY

Environmental conservation is an important global issue that is increasingly adopted by people and organizations around the world. N.C.C. Management & Development Co., Ltd. — the manager of Queen Sirikit National Convention Center and the 60th Anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Accession to the Throne International Convention Center in Hat Yai — has initiated its “Green Venue for Green Meetings/Green Exhibitions” project to promote the most efficient use of all the company’s resources. The project aims to promote environmental practices amongst the company’s employees and clients, leading to increased business value through greater efficiency in resource usage. The campaign's action plan is divided into five categories, as follows:

ENERGY

  • Switch off unnecessary lights during lunch breaks
  • Lower air-conditioner usage in event and office areas by 30-50% during lunch breaks
  • Set air-conditioner thermostats at 25 degrees Celsius
  • Install sunshield window film to reduce heat throughout QSNCC
  • Install an Energy Management unit in the Control Room
  • Install sensors to power down escalators automatically when not in use

ENVIRONMENT

  • Install digital signs to display meeting room information instead of paper/plastic signage
  • Increase green areas throughout the exterior grounds by planting trees and shrubs
  • Use left-over fruit and vegetables to make Effective Micro-organisms (EM) for use on trees and plants within QSNCC and to give to employees and visitors for their own environmental action
  • Cash cards to replace coupons in all dining areas

MEETINGS

  • Serve 0-part-per-million filtered water to participants from pitchers instead of bottled water
  • Decorate with ornamental trees and plants in place of flowers
  • Re-usable rubber coasters to replace disposable paper coasters
  • sugar to be served in jars to reduce use of wasteful packets

CSR

SOCIAL CONTRIBUTIONS

N.C.C. Management & Development Co., Ltd. is firmly committed to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects which, over two decades, have become central to its business model and philosophy. The company consistently contributes to needy causes through campaigns and activities aimed at enhancing communities and conserving nature.

NCC’S CSR PROJECTS INCLUDE:

NCC Mini Marathon Chalerm Phrakiart, held on Mother's Day for the past 18 years, raises funds for the Thai Red Cross Society.
Blood donations from community-minded staff have generated over 100,000 units of blood during the past 18 years.
NCC works with Bangchak Petroleum Pcl to collect used vegetable oil for reprocessing. To date, over 7,000 liters of oil have been regenerated for new usage.
Proceeds (after expenses) from the “Love Sharing Market” go to support underprivileged children.
A reforestation campaign helps to reduce global warming.
Significant donations are raised for people affected by natural disasters.
A thriving network of knowledge sharing with academic institutes all over the country.
